Porcho’s an amateur; my Mitz (GSD) can sense grammas treats a mile away

My Westie can be out in the backyard, at the far end (40 ft) and hear when I open a box of doughnuts! It’s amazing. I have deliberately tried to be extremely quite when I take the box down and open the lid. In that instant he’ll come through the doggie-door and come right over to me, knowing that I’m into the doughnuts. His hearing and smell are incredible!

The surest way to get my dog in from the backyard is to rattle his treat jar.

As sick as Carmen has been it is nice seeing her dressed in something other than that hideous orangy turtleneck pullover.

So THAT’S why dogs lick our faces. To see what we’ve been eating that THEY didn’t get!
