If they want husbands to vacuum, they need to invent riding vacuum cleaners!
There was a science fiction TV show in the early 1950s, B&W of course, with a vacuum that ate people…

Funny use of Stephen King. The story could be similar to one that he wrote years ago about a mangle ironer in a laundry that devoured people.
