It was really nice of him to go see Terrance in hospital; but what are they doing in Canada?
SickPuppy said, 29 days ago
It must have been his time with the cat that did this to him.

Wow, the administration is really getting the propaganda machine revved up.
I have nothing against volunteering for a good cause. I’ve volunteered for causes/charities that are important to me.
I don’t have anything against promoting volunteerism in the media. Media outlets can bring a worthy cause to the attention of a lot of people.
However, it gives me an uneasy feeling when a government coordinates the message. This is especially true when the National Endowment for the Arts is used as a carrot for compliance.

It is intersting every comic except pib of course if hopping on the volunteer bandwagon, I wonder if they were prompted or chose to do it. I know I am getting rather cynical in my “old age” ;-)

Mucash, I think JoJo was making a South Park joke… The boy in the bed does look a lot like the Canadian TV star of the Terrance and Philip show.
Did I get it right, JoJo?

Well, propaganda or not, GOOD BOY PONCHO!
I leave home early when I’m going to visit my grandma at the rehab facility because I take my dog with (see avatar pic) and everyone there always smiles when they see him. Dogs really do have a positive effect on people-I can make their day just by walking my dog down the hall ;)
And no, he’s not a trained therapy dog or anything, just a housepet that goes on visits…

Government propaganda? NEA enforced compliance? Huh?
one of the comics (Luann, iirc) had a URL for something called the Hands On Network:
http://www.handsonnetwork.org/comics
and if you read the “our sponsors” page, it’s all corporations!
