Beats finding them by accidentally sitting on them.

Lucky you found them….I went to Costco today and in my travels I dropped my sunglasses…but only noticed they were not hooked on my collar where I always put them when not in use…So after looking and asking, found nothing…So somewhere goes some wonderful honest person who is telling someone, “Hey, look what I found”…

No way could I wear my glasses like that.

David_42. Me, either. For several reasons. First, they’d fall off. Second, I’d never actually SEE anything without them on. Third…..must be getting old, I can’t remember the third thing.

If you get spring hinge type frames and the temples are long enough then they can cling to your head enough to stay on like that.

    Things like that happen.
I had a new pair of polarized bifocal sunglasses. They fell off when I was clambering over a rock on a trout stream and landed, you guessed it, deep in a plunge pool. Now there is a fish who can see very well.
My optician gave me one of those floating strap things with my new pair of glasses.

Zenni Optical online sells dirt cheap glasses that are really good. Everyone should have a second pair. And they are good enough to be your first pair. You just have to plug your script in along with the PD or pupillary distance, which is the distance between your pupils. Then you pay by credit card.

Isn’t that one of the symptoms of a stroke?

My father couldn’t find his glasses anywhere, and had my mother’s in his hand. My mom was getting all over him because he had lost his, but it turns out she was wearing his on her face.

Ha. I’ve put on my glasses to look for them.

But you really did lose your glasses, you had no choice in getting them back…the sad thing about mine, and they were Rx too…was that someone found them and chose to not give them to lost and found…I am sadden by how many honest people there are around now…When I see someone drop something, I tell them right away…but now ???
