Looks so cute…Miss those simple times, when kids are not glued to a stupid phone…

Who buys them the phones in the first place?

I remember “Etch-A-Sketch”! They were fun to play with, even if you were one of those kids who couldn’t make impressive drawings on them.

I was totally dyslexic with that thing! Couldn’t make it do a darn thing I wanted it to. Some kids could draw a complex scene. Didn’t matter, it was gone the minute some brat got ahold of it and shook it upside down.

Never had one of those things, nor did I know anyone who did. I grew up in poor neighborhood where socks and underwear were the norm for Christmas presents.

I Loved those Etch-A-Sketch. My folks couldn’t buy me one, we were also in the socks and underwear kinda neighborhood.
Except for my best friend’s family, his grandma got him one. Every chance I got I borrowed it and spent hours on it. (he hated the thing) The next Christmas the kid wrapped it up and gave it to me. Best Christmas Ever!

Once data erased, it’s gone forever

That reminds me when Dilbert’s pointy-haired boss brought his laptop and asked him how to clear the screen and Dilbert said to hold it over his head and shake.

I always hated getting the used ones with the knobs gone. It hurts the fingers.
