My Dad put one up in our yard..we didn’t have a ball, so we used rags to make a ball…worked pretty good..So when it hit me in the head, it was not as bad as a ball…and the times the rope wrapped around my wrist, well that was painful…

That one’s more like “what goes down can still come up”, isn’t it?

I’m so confused. He hits it forward, but it wraps backward and smacks him in the back of the head. Must be magic!

I think (by looking at the wrap on the pole) he hit the ball, his follow-through turned him around, and the the ball hit him in the face!

Tetherball! I haven’t even thought about that in years. My cousins had one, and I think we had one at school, too..

The original version used a tennis ball in a net bag and paddle tennis paddles.
