Didn’t know that they could recall the horse & buggy….

The company that made the car probably went out of business a long time ago

‘What country does this car come from?’
    ‘It … no longer exists..,’

Pluggers just “recall” their glory days and the cars that went with them.

That bug is newer than mine was—-my bumper was just metal (’66).

B-52 pilots are Pluggers, the planes are older than most of the pilots.

And every now and then, I get a call to get a warranty on my van which didn’t even have a warranty when I bought it from it’s previous owner. It’s too damn old to have a warranty of any kind. It still runs great too.

The curved glass windshield means it is a newer bug-Superbug?

I have a friend who has a pretty nice looking, fully intact Yugo that he now stores in winters and drives about 500 miles a year (it has roughly 70k miles on it). This is in Michigan.

pluggers have trouble ‘recalling’ their own cars when we return to the parking lot……

    @PipeTobacco

    That is interesting.
People maligned a lot of cars in their day, that are now considered collectible.
Because Yugos had such low values, it only took a little ding to total loss them.
At least in the US, most of them probably ended up crushed.
Your friend may have a rare car in his Yugo.

    That’s funny.
Anyone else remember trying to unlock the door of the wrong car.
The worst part, is sometimes the key in your hand would fit the lock on someone else’s car.

That’s the old beetle. I had one of those. They have no power, and the gas mileage wasn’t good, either.
