Yep, I get most of my steps walking into a room, then walking out, then going back remembering what I went in there for…then dropping it, so I get more exercise…

This may be why I don’t always find things in the last place I look, but someplace I already looked.

When this happens to me (which is just about always, every day) I have to retrace my steps to the place where I had the thought initially, then going to the room that has the item, all the while talking to myself so I won’t forget again.

Not me! I get my cardio “walking” the dogs twice a day.

I read somewhere that walking though doorways makes you forget. I walk thought a lot of doors.

Yep, the idea seems to have some validity. Here’s one of a number of articles discussing the phenomena.

Happens to me all the time. Sometimes I will write down what I am looking for and forget to look at the list.

Hooray for getting old! Beats the alternative.

LOL…this sound familiar…But talking to your self ? I hope you did not talk out loud…I’ve done that but quickly look around hoping no one did notice. But now a days, you sort of can get away with it because of the cell phones…

Actually I had these problems as a kid when I was eating too much sugar. My brain seems a lot sharper now on a health food diet with no sugar.
