THE HUBCAPS FOR THIS TRUCK ARE NO LONGER BEING MADE.

Are any hub caps still being made? When a wheel nut worked loose the bigger caps would stop it from getting lost.

http://www.csmonitor.com/Business/Latest-News-Wires/2012/0709/3-million-mile-Volvo-Long-Island-man-s-P1800S-won-t-quit-video.I went searching for that story because I thought it was a pre-1980 Mercedes-Benz. The guy with the Guineas record for more than 3million miles is a retired Long Island schoolteacher with a p1800 Volvo. The older Benzes had grille medallions for milestones, and it was not impossible to find a million mile Benz in the 1970s, usually owned by a former German.

Haven’t gone over 250K on a car yet. I’ll have to live to 169 to put that many miles on my current MB.

My sister decided to upgrade to a new Forester when her Subaru Impreza had 371,000 miles on it. She gave the Impreza back to her ex-husband. That was five years ago. He passed it on to a neighbor’s kid who is still driving it.
