Yes, that was back when people actually cooked!

A lot of us never stopped cooking and it’s making a comeback with many of the younger set. Why? Because there’s a lot of unnatural ingredients in our food today. Monsanto and a few others have a monopoly on the global food source and it is full of antibiotics, steroids, arsenic, mercury, and other chemical compounds, not to mention that cows, pigs and chickens are forced to eat large amounts of corn which is not normal. Then we have the GM (genetically modified) food, much of which is banned in Europe. This is why I cook from scratch, and with organic ingredients, for my family. (Sorry to be so long)

@psychlady
some of us STILL cook. as in meals made from scratch. I tend to cook meals six days out of the seven. my husband does the other meal. also from scratch. our kid prefers home cooked meals over things like tv dinners

There’s the edible stuff and the unprintable stuff. My wife likes them both.

I wish pluggers could become more than just a 1 cell comic. Would like to see a story line with these characters….

So do I, but with Chris’ demise, “Shoe”, sundry political cartooning and magazine illustrations, the workload is pretty heavy around the place !

Good move! You’ll save on medical bills and everything else. Life starts with food.

My best work involved lead type, oil based ink and fine paper. Sometimes it was cookie recipes.
