    Thanks for the piano moving tutorial. In the early 1980s I worked for a guy moving furniture. We moved three or four pianas during my time there. One was for a guy who looked like Kelsey Grammer (I swear), another one was I believe, a grand with an 1864 stamp on it. The house was on the side of a hill with a long skinny hallway that we maneuvered the thing through. Sketchy memory indicates that the house we moved it to was a more conventional access. “Kelsey’s” piano had to go upstairs in the house. What a yob that was ! We had a guy named Brian Golden who played piano and would offer his service as a tuner to anyone whose instrument we moved. Apparently… it is good policy to tune those things after moving them.

    your son and freinds will work pretty hard for a case of beer. Just let them drink 1, then do the job. That is called “priming the pump”.
