I know what most people are thinking but he’s actually looking at the Victoria’s Secret full page ads. Six pages of Obits? I don’t think so.

It’s a very old community.

Well, with what I have been seeing in the ‘Sports’ page, looking at the ‘Obits’ could be more interesting.

You haven’t seen the obits around here. Even though it is a small town and everyone knows everyone else, the paper lists everything the person has ever done, going back to kindergarten.

I check the obits every day to see if my name is listed.
If it’s not there, then I go to work. :)

There was a small town weekly paper that was supposed to do a piece honoring a local citizen…somehow,it got listed as an obit. The man called the Editor to complain…the Editor asked where he was calling from…

My Obit has been published twice. Luckily, in error!

Good thing he got a haircut the other day. Never know what might happen next and Pluggers want to look good.

He’s just like George Burns who said " Every morning first thing I do is read the obituaries, if I’m not in them I get out of bed."

If he doesn’t see his own obit, he can get on with his day.

I get up each morning and dust off my wits, open the paper and read the Obits. If I’m not there, I know I’m not dead, so I eat a good breakfast, and go right back to bed. How do I know my youth is all spent, My get up and go, just got up and went. But inspit of it all, I’m able to grin, and think of the places my get up has been.
