Actually, he didn;t do it all that well, look at the grass flying. I think he used a Tee. The secret to a drop kick is to hold the ball strainght out from the shoulders, start stepping forward then when you drop the ball give a little lift with the hands, just an inch or so. This brings the kicking foot in line with the ball dead center. Also don;t hold the ball level have the front end slightly lower then the back, that way it is already heading out. If it is level the ball just goes straight up.
