“Everyone buys food” but far too many don’t really unde where it comes from. The same goes for wood products. The timber industry is a mystery to most.

Bacon prices are already through the roof! I pay about $3.50 or more for 12 oz of bacon and I used to get it for half that price.

Pluggers seem to mostly live in the suburbs where the farm is little seen. The only radio is just found in the large overly lit grocery stores muzak is heard.
