I once mailed two postcards from Las Vegas. At the same time, to the same place. One was of a hotel, the other had showgirls on it. The latter took two days longer to arrive.

When National Geographic had their first hologram cover, it arrived at my PO Box 2 weeks late, covered in fingerprints.

A couple of years ago, I had a friend who mailed me a postcard as soon as she got to her vacation destination in Paris. She was gone for a week but she returned home long before I finally got her card. Talk about slow mail delivery!
