    One some foods, the date on them is not an “expiration date;” but, a “sell by,” “better if used by” or “best by” date.

    But, my medicines have either expiration dates on them with “Exp:” on the label or “Discard after:” dates on them.

    I would agree except that dark chocolate I eat for antioxidants is nearing its best by date. Yuck.
