Its way more fun searching through junkyards looking for used parts. Anyone can go to NAPA, but it takes a Plugger to drag a toolbox through the mud looking for parts.
While living in SoCal, I would frequent the junkyards –er, auto recycling centers!– to perform “practice” runs on difficult repairs for my car. There were a couple of times that saved me from “surprises” when actually working on my own machine.
” Whoops!!! That spring sure flew off quick! May never find it… but who cares? This car has no front end!!”
America’s first interactive, reader-participation comic -- Pluggers chronicles the hardworking people the world depends on. They represent the 80 percent of humanity who unceremoniously keep plugging along -- balancing work, play and family life.
