What pluggers are that stingy that they won’t buy a $10 sprinkler?!
Mac said, 4 months ago
The sprinkler doesn’t earn an allowance. It’s about creating jobs. Pluggers know how.

Watch it! I was once a disgruntled teenager!

It is amusing that the Pluggers marry animals of different species and their children are not the same animal species as their parents.
I was only disgruntled once as a young teenager. It was a case where both my father and myself were right and wrong at the very same time. He was wrong to make me work outdoors in way below freezing temperatures when I didn’t have the warm enough clothes to wear and I was wrong in refusing to obey him.
But, we worked it out just fine later.
I wasn’t lazy and I liked doing things with him. But, it was just too cold and I ached.

I could see a Plugger having the teenager hook up the sprinkler & move it around, but holding it? That’s a bit much. I’m sure I could find other work for my teenager to do instead. (Weeding, mowing, washing dishes, vacuuming, dusting…)

Joe Allen Doty must be new to Pluggerville, or just a slow learner, if he just noticed the cross-speciation of Plugger families.
I think it’s great how Gary Brookins (and Jeff MacNelly before him) find just the right animus for the character displayed. The disgruntled teen is right on. I have a houseful of them right now. Ruff-Ruff.

When I drank beer I thought watering the lawn was a great job.

To be fair, it’s the old cartoon gag of “gender-linked species”; The children of Andy Bear and Sheila Roo are boys (bears) and girls (kangaroos).

Hi, cashew Jim, but not meaning to sound nasty, noone wants to hear about your watering schedule, out here in the VERY West, (San Diego) We’re on MANDATORY watering conservation, but, anyway, when you think you have something you want to tell people, remember these Letters: NBC (No Body Cares.)

You’re a plugger when any home maintenance task involves a disguntled teenager. Is there any other kind?
