Do you think Japanese prefecture and city Fukuoka is kind of close to “truck* you okay”? *For censorship.

Technically, no, Nelson. But it’s what’s in the heart that counts.

I have frequently said “shaving cream!” when something stupid happened.

My grandmother would hae called that swearing, and grampa would have held me while she washed out my mouth! Mom and Dad both agreed with them. Love ’em all, and thank them still for teaching me to be respectful.

Poor Nelson the Grand parents are white washing the fact they are using words that are acceptable but still doing the same as swearing .

Swearing and the $50 “F word” has broken up a friendship. One of the hardest decisions you’ll ever face is choosing whether to walk away or try harder.

Hubby’s exasperation is expressed by “oh, PA-jamas!” You can tell how annoyed he is by how loud and long the first syllable is.

Does this mean Robin (Batman’s sidekick) has been swearing a lot all these years?

Sometimes the way she says EARL probably sounds similar to a curse

My father used to say, “applesauce and sauerkraut!”
Some exclamation helps work out some immediate frustration or anger and perhaps prevents some angry action.
The overuse of a certain word shows a lack of vocabulary and creativity, and is still offensive to some people.
