LOL…she does have good point about the weather though…Heard a story about a couple of Californians were visiting their frends in New York…They were all going out on the town, and it started to rain…the Ca. man said, oh no it’s started to rain, now we can’t go…N.Y. friends looked at each other puzzled, then told him that if you wait for the weather, you’ll never go out….I did laugh, but I’ve gone out in all kinds of weather her in So. Cal., yah we do have weather… We’ve had some strange weather in my time…not always sunny and dry…

Here in Phoenix, you’re well advised to stay in when it rains. Go out and you have to deal with all the closed-off streets where the people who don’t know how to drive in the rain have crashed.

Pheonex is good, but I prefer Organ Stop Pizza in Mesa as a food stop. (Good music)

No such thing as bad weather? Try telling that to the folks in Joplin, Mo.

When I worked in northern california, a few miles south of the oregon border, I never complained about the weather. 6 months of good weather beat most of oregon, hands down. Only the Rogue valley had comparable weather.

used to be a place in south Portland along 181st called the Organ Grinder. Closed up when they couldn’t get enough people who knew how to run pipe organs.

Being part of the “Norvelt Foot Patrol” we walk every day, just dress for the day, be it warm or cold. Yes, some days are more demanding than others, for that is how life is.

Well, today is Dec. 22 in Northeastern PA. It’s 65 degrees @ 6:15 AM, and it’s raining horizontally, with wind gusts to 50 MPH.
    Who wants to go shopping?

Here in west central FL it’s 72 at 8:30 a.m., going up to 85 and sunny today. To think I used to take 3 buses to college and three buses back each day in Chicago when the weather in January at 3 p.m. was sometimes well below zero. Once it was -16 ! Don’t know how I ever did that. Youth, I guess.

Gramma Tests are a lot more complicated than Grampa ones, but at least we Grampas don’t have to know all the answers – we just pretend we do !
