My dog keeps my lap warm. Or perhaps my lap keeps him warm. We haven’t figured that out yet but it is clear he’s a lap dog.

Since our vents are near the ceiling, my Motley and I kept warm with a “blanky” over us. My head would pop out at the top and her nose would be right under my chin. Miss her so much.

My cat would always be nice and toasty warm after a nap… which was great when I came in from the cold!

My cat loves to sit in my lap while reading comics. I always feel bad when I have to get up to do anything because she falls asleep so quickly.

I woke up this morning with five kitties on me, two adults and three kittens I rescued from the outside last week in bed with me. They are becoming nice loving pets.

Ah, the best of all possible worlds! My lap extends from my knees to my neck and over the years I’ve learned to type from the “contored kitty” position.

My wife had two toy poodles, neither of which were lapdogs. We now have a 50-lb mutt that is more than happy to be one.
