If Opal could read Earl’s mind he would be
spending a lot more time sleeping on the
    couch.

If she’s reading his mind you can be sure it won’t take long. Short read.

A mind is like a parachute: it works best when open.

It’s no wonder Nelson always has a blank look on his face.

I think there’s a Lot in Earl’s mind – but she’s read it all before.

win: There used to be (maybe still) a little survival booklet in the flap of the parachute pack titled “Emergency Uses of the Parachute”. A friend of mine who was with the OSS behind the lines in China said, “I thought all uses of the parachute were emergency.”
    .
Matthew Ridgeway, commander of the 82nd airborne at D-Day, asked about skydiving, said, “A parachute is a lousy means of transportation.”
