   I remember when my gran in her 80s came to live with us…mom was horrified to discover she never really washed her hands, just sort of dibbled her fingertips under the tap. Her explanation was “I never get very dirty.” And to think she worked in food service for years….!!

   that’s why my gram would never eat out—she said that too may dufass’s were not clean enough for her…she also taught me to cook-for which i am eternally grateful.
