    I just discovered that the loops on the back of expensive running shoes are meant to act as a “shoehorn” to pull them on by. My neighbour uses them to hang her son’s shoes in the airspace overnight to air out.

    that’s not opal’s tongue in the last panel, if that’s what you’re referring to. her mouth is open & you’re seeing the shoulder of her blouse or dress .
