Don’t spend too much money Opal or Earl will
growl even louder.

Earl knows that he is going to waste 5 hours of his life that he will never get back.

My dad and one of my college are the only two guys I’ve ever met that like shopping. When my brother and I were kids, we hated shopping because it was always “one more store.”

Opal is big girl. Why does she “make” Earl go with her?

Only 5?

It’s a woman thing. See me, I domesticated a man. He follows behind me through the stores muttering oaths.

Fortunately I’m not married. I can usually have my shopping done in under an hour. But if I were married, I’m sure my Saturday would be shot. It certainly was when I was a kid.

Why on earth are women incapable of doing things on their own? It drives me crazy when women have to have their men with them all the time. I’ve never understood it, and by the way, I have been married for 34 years. I don’t wait to convince my husband to do something—I just go do it.

Greater love hath no man than he who goes shopping at the mall with his significant other ! There is a special place in heaven for the one who accompanies her as she shops for clothing.
