Earl is about to discover “string theory” to hold his glasses on his face—or maybe bandaid theory.

They’re called squewks. And the normally get lost in either the carpet or the sofa. Nasty little buggers. the older I get, the smaller they get !

Thankfully, the one really nasty set frames for that kind of thing broke on me and I had to replace them. They were designed to have the hinge screw screw in from the bottom of the hinge rather than the top. Took me quite a while to figure out why I kept losing the screws so often.

I had a pair like that. Nightmare. Finally replaced them when one lens dropped out into the toilet when I stood up. No, I wasn’t terribly keen on fishing it out.

The real problem is that I can’t see the dang things without my glasses on. I have a magnifying glass on a stand that helps with that.
