They are kind of like coyotes. Unlike the American Wolf, which required little effort to extirpate, the Coyote has been trapped, shot, been poisoned, had bounties on it and it has not only increased its numbers and expanded its range, it now lives in many of our cities!

Move to Arizona Earl. They don’t have
dandelions there. It’s too dry.

Some people might bet even by eating them, but I’ll pass on that. It’s been too dry here for dandilions as well.

You think dandelions are bad, try to get rid of kudzu!

I suppose the dandelion has the right idea; exactly how is a truce supposed to work in this case? It can’t be a case of live and let live, dandelions will spread their seeds no matter what. Better to keep it a war, less bad feelings that way.

Talk about DRY…
Yesterday in Vegas we got 3/4 of a inch of rain.
That brings the years total to 1 inch for the YEAR.

The dandelions are under control in my yard. Now it’s the blasted grape vines. Those things are growing like kudzu. Wonder if they’ve cross-pollenated with it. Can’t seem to keep up with it!

I had friends years ago that went out and collected dandelions greens and made dandelion wine and then distilled it in to dandelion brandy. Two shots would knock you on your butt!!!
