Did Pearl dye Nelson’s white robe?
When I was 10 years old, my family while on vacation went to Rock City on top of Lookout Mountain above Chattanooga, TN. I got a gnome with a pencil sharpener attached to its back.
The Travelocity Gnome statue talks without moving its mouth and somehow gets to places without being able to move at all.

J.A.D. - there’s a story behind the magical moving gnomes but I’ll spare you the details.

The gnomes of fairy tales are living creatures; but, the Travelocity Gnome is merely a lawn statue.
