At least she doesn’t have Alzheimer’s yet.
There is a man living in this complex who is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. Some folks call him “Cowboy Bob” because he only wears western outfits with cowboy boots and hat.
He sometimes forgets his apartment number and tries to find it by the number engraved on the key that lets him into the building. I have had to help him find his apartment several times. It’s on the 2nd floor in the north hallway between my apartment and the elevator.
He does seem to have a very good memory of his life many years ago. If you ask him, how long he has lived here, he will say about a month. But, he’s been here almost a year.
I have been told that his daughter is trying to get him into the Veterans home over in Claremore which is over 35 miles away.
