The Studebaker is neat! In fact, that is what the scene is all about……

Earl is going to pay for this one. It looks like a bad case of ‘foot in mouth’ disease to me.

Earl is finally taking charge - I am encouraged.
What’s that Studbuster worth? Check it out:

This comic is in color @ comics.com. I wonder if this will be a permanent change here.

That Studebaker and I are of the same era, both are 1948 models (me and the car). What I wouln’t give to own one of them babies today!
Joe Allen Doty said, about 1 month ago
The color of the Studebaker is blue.
GoComics is just showing the non-colorized version of it.
The strip is also in black and white in my newspaper today. The Tulsa World only has color comics on Sundays.
Often, the 1st 2 or 3 panels of the original strip are missing in the local paper.
The Tulsa World not only edits Associated Press articles; it edits the Sunday Comics, too.

On the BBC sitcom, “Keeping Up Appearances,” Hyacinth Bucket was always telling her husband how to drive and she never drove a car. In fact, she did that no matter who was driving the vehicle in which she was riding.
She grew up poor and she married a man who worked for the city and in an office.
She pretended to be richer than she really was. And she told people that her married name was not pronounced “Bucket;” and that it was pronounced like “Bouquet.”

Love Keeping Up Appearances. In some ways, this strip resembles that show.

Dude, Richard would never talk back to Hyacinth that way (well, maybe under his breath). :-D

This cartoon is my husband and me–not only today but more days than not. But we’ve put in 56 years.
How do I get rid of this box? Noone else’s comment keeps the stupid box.
I also love Keeping Up Appearances and my husband can’t stand it. Amazing to me that it keeps repeating year after year. Just because nothing else so good comes along.

Still got the box. Da*n.
Maizing said, about 1 month ago
@ wynot
Only you can see the “box” around your own comments. This is true for every other poster as well.

An Original Studebaker with automatic spare tire
How ingenious! I want to buy ‘er!
$5,000 dollars ain’t too much to spend
I’ll go buy it and drive off like the wind
If the engine has RPM’s that go higher

wynoy - if you want to see your comments without the box you have to log out or log in under another user name.
