I didn’t waste my time as a kid, but nowadays…

Everybody doesn’t have the luxury of getting older……like the youngsters who hit Omaha Beach and got their bellies blown open…..never knowing what it was like to fall in love and raise a family. Pickles is a great comic strip…remember our boys who made it possible to be here along with our freedom in a Republic! From a 71 year old Navy submariner.

Sorry Earl but watching “The Price is Right” is a horrible waste of time. Watch “Jeopardy” instead, and learn something.

The Price Is Right hasn’t been the same since Bob Barker retired. But other than the Price Is Right, I don’t do game shows.

I spent most of my time as a kid hanging around or watching TV. The rest I just wasted.
FishStix said, 2 months ago
Hold everything, Earl! Wasting time is the purpose of retirement - don’t waste your time-wasting on a stupid game show.

Doing something you like is not wasting time. TPIR is a lot better since Bob Barker retired. I like Drew Carey. I think he’s perked up the show considerably.
Now I’m going to go out and sit on the porch and watch my grass grow.

The only time I wasted as a kid was the time I spent in church.

The only time I wasted as a kid was the time I spent… umm… wait a second… well, obviously I forgot it, so it WAS wasted.

I suppose Bob Barker makes Earl feel young.

Since Drew Carey is now the host, I would have to say that it makes Earl feel better about his weight. I’m sure Drew adds some perkiness to the show, but I’ve had little opportunity to see it since Bob left.
I always liked him on the Drew Carey Show and on the American version of Who’s Line.

I don’t watch TV anymore, but I’d watch The Price is Right if Earl was on it.

I’d rather watch Jeopardy. But I could never hack it as a contestant because I’d yell out the answer as an answer instead of a question.
I’d be a loser!

It’s my party and i’ll cry if I want to….its my time and I’ll waste it if I want to…

Drew is just fine as a actor in a situation comedy; but, he’s a terrible game show host.
In truth, “The Price is Right” is basically a one-hour commercial. There is a mini commercial for everything that is available to be won.

Thanks to Macushlalondrao mentioning JEOPARDY!, you all “Pickles” readers, you should know that just like JEOPARDY! contestant Ken Jennings, Brian Crane is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (or commonly known as Mormon).

I used to watch game shows. None of ‘em made me a penny richer. Dumb…REAL dumb.
