Until then, try vinegar, boiling water, mulching, trampling…
…or…
…you can cook ‘em up and eat them.
Dandelions are more nutritious than spinach.
The plant root can be used as a laxative, blood cleanser or treatment for diabetes; and can even be processed to make rubber.

Become one with the dandelion, grok it in it’s fullness. Waiting is.

Just goes to show how insignificant we really are. Mother Nature always gets her way, eventually.

Oh Nelson what a nasty thing to say! Only spending time with grandpa because you can’t find anything more interesting to do.

Macushlalondra, I don’t think Nelson has a choice. I recall wanting to be anywhere but with my grandparents, but my vote didn’t count for anything either.

How about making some dandelion wine? Haven’t tried it myself - but I know folks who do.

@lonewolf4241:
Yes, dandelions can provide a natural remedy for diabetes.
Of course, you should always seek the advice of your doctor, but drinking dandelion tea everyday can help normalize blood sugar levels. It has the same effect as insulin.
You can add dandelion leaves to soups and salads. It is packed with vitamins and minerals, and can improve the cholesterol level of diabetic patients.

Jor-El has the right idea about the dandelions! And as for Nelson…he’s pretty witty for a little kid.
