    Hey eat the supper first and then go down to the basement to clean up anyway! Otherwise, Earl will be straving to eat the supper. If I were in Earl’s shoes, I would tell Opal to cook the dinner NOW and eat the supper first and then I would go down to the basement to clean up anyway…..

    Dang! Earl’s usually up to snuff with Opal, but she got him good this time. But with his usual philosophical way, he just sucks up and accepts his fate. But there’s always another day.
