    Artichoke is a vegetable. I like to scrape something off from the hard leaves with mayo and eat it in my mouth but I don’t like to eat the heart of artichoke. It tastes funny. Ack!

    Artichokes are delicious, especially the hearts. We steam them in water with olive oil, garlic, and dried basil. Italians love them!

    No artichokes in the retirement community. I miss them.
