   Dru is throwing away her “powers” and taking human form to be with the one she loves, classic love story…. she simply fell down becuase she will have trouble re-adapting to the “human” dynamics

   I doubt it. Not at this point, anyway. Dru knows that her powers or not won’t make any difference. She also has a higher sense of duty and honor; she knows also that her powers are required, wielded by one such as herself, in the world.
    
   I have faith that her very dear friends, Geoff & Pib, will not abandon her in her time(s) of need … even if Dru might have some difficulties accepting them. Dru has been a loner for so long (perhaps all of her 800+ years) that she will likely find it a challenge.
    
   I’ve commented elsewhere before to the effect that we should remember that Dru is a demon, a damned soul. Her damnation could very well be to ever seek, to desire, to search for love, but to ever be denied.
    
   And, that is also a very classical story.

   A succubus isn’t a person condemned, it’s a supernatural entity in its own right. Redemption isn’t an option for Dru - her succubushood cannot be “redeemed”, as it was never bought.

   I should not have said “throwing away” her powers. She has passed them on; full force to Pib and planted a seed, so to speak, in the young girl, who’s name escapes me at the moment.
   A succubus IS a demon, and therefore “damned”, however if one believes in such, one could just as easily believe that state of demonia(?) could be shed, tho, not easily and one could lead a normal life leading to redemption.

   But devils and demons are (according to many accounts) fallen angels; remember “better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven”; even Lucifer himself could be redeemed … if he wanted to be.
