Part Two - The hunt begins

The lady in black got back on her motorcycles and went to the next establishment that was in her memory from the book. She checked the entire establishment but Simone was no where to be found. The lady chuckled to herself and took a drink of whiskey. She did not swallow the whiskey but instead swished it around inside her mouth. The green eyes of the lady in black began to glow. Then she opened up her mouth and blew out fire.

As the lady in black left the building she could hear people screaming and cursing every foul word in the name of God. As she drove away on her motorcycle, the building became overtaken by flames. The firefighters were definitely going to earn their paychecks tonight.

The next known place that Simone owns was a strip joint which was located in a run down trashy neighborhood in this town. The lady in black knew that this would be the place that she would find him, for the stench of his foul blood was present here.

As she made her way into the joint, she was disgusted by what she saw. Women completely in the nude were entertaining the rowdy men. The men who were willing to spend a little extra cash were taken into a private room where pleasure awaited them.

One of the rowdy men that was under the influence of alcohol reached out to touch her behind. He then handed the lady in black some money hoping for some sexual action. She smiled at him and took the money. The only action that she gave him how ever was taking his head and slamming it down on the table knocking him out cold. She then returned his money and continued on with the hunt.

The foul stench of blood led her into a secret passage way that only vampires like her knew about. She took out her sword and began to navigate her way through the passageway. Howls could be heard all around her as she slowed her step to prepare for battle.

A couple of ravenous werewolves came at her from all directions. With her sword out, she was more than a match for the beasts as they came at her. She moved with the grace of a ballerina and attacked with the deadly skill of a martial arts expert. Her sword slashed into the belly of one werewolf while her feet in motion connected on another werewolf taken it down quickly. With her strong legs she quickly tighten up her grip and twisted the werewolf’s head, breaking its neck, killing it instantly.

Two more werewolves emerged from the darkness and came at her. The lady in black took to the air and did a spin move. While doing the spin move she took out a specially made revolver from her trench coat and took aim at the two remaining werewolves. The bullets ripped into the flesh of both werewolves causing them intense pain as silver nitrate was released into their bloodstream. She watched the death struggles of the werewolves with fascination then made her way to the end of the passageway putting some explosive devices on both walls She then went to the end of the passageway where a door was. Once again she ripped the door off its hinges and went in. She finally came face to face with Simone, the one who had made her a vampire.

People born since Star Wars came out are more than half my age…

I remember, just after stepdaughter Helen’s fourteenth birthday (which was before she was my stepdaughter, and not too long after Kate and i met), as i was driving her to school one day, we were discussing how kids these days view the future - if any.

I told her that when i was her age, i really didn’t expect to have the chance to be thirty - my fourteenth birthday was 22 October, 1962. And i come from Greenville SC.

She said “Oh, right.”

I was somewhat impressed that someone born in 1974 would recognise the significance of the date, even though i had to explain about Major Anderson…

Fatuncle: All stings considered, I wouldn’t want to diagnose anything long distance. But I very much doubt that your four bites are actually spider bites. If you have the crushed or captured spider to show the doctor, then I withdraw the suggestion.

You’d have to know what spiders are extant in your area, and whether they’re poisonous or you’re allergic to them; and whether there are other creatures in your bed to bite you (far more likely).

And with all respect to doctors, they often aren’t expert in the field of spiders and their bites. MANY diagnosed spider bites are from completely different beasties.

I’m not saying your bites don’t exist! I’m just protecting the reputation of the much-maligned spider, who will only bite to protect itself and would rather run away than bite you.

We have not yet.seen the face. Whatever weird thing it is that’s going on with the eyes doesn’t reveal their true color…or even if they have any. The clothes and the hair are Satori…but we really don’t know who we’re looking at here.

The only thing that I believe you can count on is that Pib doesn’t decapitate her, becaue if she does…it’s ballgame.

Incdentally - i again reiterate my recommendation of Giselle, particularly when, as in the current strip (or in this one), her succubus cousin Lula’s profession causes awkward pauses…

The last house that My dad and I lived in He went outside one night and saw a tarantula spider on our front porch. I was so scared that I would have screamed if my dad hadn’t covered my mouth. He told me to calm down or the tarantula spider might come after me.

Problems.

I just noticed that Scrap’s left eye is swollen almost shut, and the white area is red.

I’m afraid that one of her skirmishes with Miss Kitty may have gone a bit further than i thought.

The big problem is that we have no money - i suspect we’re overdrawn at the bank, in fact - until next Wednesday.

So tomorrow Scrap and i go to the vet and see if we can arrange something…

Dru was full of sparkly bits when X-rayed at the hospital. Satori now seems to be full of them as well. Perhaps they are Dru’s essence?

The hardest part here at Pibgorn is having to wait till Monday to see the next update. I must give all you people who work hard here to keep folks like myself entertained a standing ovation. This site is more than just the Comic that Brooke McEldowney puts up. It is a solid foundation where wonderful people get together and share their talents and engage in topics of great importance. Let’s face it the OTC is rich in culture and I hope it never changes.
