From the heels of her boots to the tips of her fingers Satori has been enveloped in white sparklies, but who in the end wears her costume? To the “Dru?…” and “Dinah…” of the final panel, we must add “…Satori?”

I’m always amazed how incredibly limber HM draws his females. Satori’s right leg is almost hitting the back of her shoulder.

Chad Barrows woke up, but not in familiar surroundings. His head was throbbing as if he had one wicked hang over. Chad began to notice several things then. He was in a forest, his pants were ripped, and he had no shirt or shoes on. He was also covered in blood that was not his own. What had he done, and why couldn’t he remember anything about last night?

He walked down to the creek and washed the blood off of him. “Murderer!” a voice said from behind him. Chad turned around to see a mangled corpse of what was once a beautiful woman standing before him. “I could not have done this to you, for I am not that kind of guy.” Chad said trying to clear himself of any wrong doing. The mangled corpse of the woman pointed a finger at him and yelled”Werewolf!” then she vanished into thin air and left Chad all alone.

Chad was troubled! He had always thought of himself as a good Christian that would do anything for his fellow man. He made his way home without being noticed and put on a fresh clean pair of clothing. Then he went out and headed to his church.

“Bless me father! for I have sinned.” Chad said while being inside a confession box. The priest looked at Chad through a small opening then asked, “What is it that you have done, my son.” Chad figured that confession was good for his soul so he told the priest about his encounter with the mangled corpse of the dead woman. “Father! she called me a werewolf and then vanished right before my eyes.” Chad said with a look of regret on his face. “May I suggest to you to stop watching monster movies and keep up on your religious studies, besides there are no such things as werewolves, vampires, witches, or the walking dead.” The priest said and was finished with this confession.

That night Chad turned on the television and watched the news with interest. Reports of a woman’s body have been found. Apparently She had been attacked by a large animal. The police would not offer any further comments as to the whereabouts of the animal. Chad was satisfied that he was in the clear. There was no way that he could have done it. It was done by an animal, not a human. Chad turned off the television and decided to go to bed. Sleep, however did not come easy for him. Chad began to toss and turn, for he was uncomfortable. As he opened his eyes he got quite a scare. The dead mangled corpse of the woman was laying in bed next to him. He screamed and quickly jumped out of his bed. The dead mangled corpse of the woman got up from his bed and again pointed a finger at him. “Werewolf!” she said, and again vanished right before his eyes. Sleeping now was definitely not going to happen, for his mind was racked with confusion and guilt.

The rest of the month went by without any incident. He began to think that it was all in his head and that maybe his friends had played a mean trick on him. Little did Chad know that tonight was a full moon and he had a date.

At 7:00 P.M. Chad arrived at his girlfriends house to pick her up. Tonight was special for it was their Senior Prom. Julie kissed her parents goodbye and off they went for an evening of fun and romance.

By 7:30 P.M. they made it to their school. Music was playing and kids were dancing or hanging out by the refreshment stand talking. Chad took Julie into his arms and began to dance with her. He figured that if he showed her a real good time, then maybe later she would be willing to make love to him.

By the third dance Chad began to feel weird. He began to fill hot under the collar of his tuxedo. Outside a full moon began to shine brightly. Suddenly! Chad dropped to the floor in front of his girlfriend. She screamed as his body began to go into a seizure fit. The music stopped and everyone began to watch as Chad struggled. “Leave now while you all have the chance. I don’t want to hurt anyone anymore.” Chad begged as tears from his eyes rolled down his cheeks. His clothes began to rip as his body underwent a painful transformation. Julie screamed but could not move. Finally one of her friends grabbed her by the arm and quickly exited out the door.

A thick coat of gray and black fur began to cover his body. A tail sprouted out from behind him. Wolf-like ears began to form as well as a muzzle complete with sharp canine fangs, and his eyes were yellow glowing with a fiery rage. Kids began to scream and run for the exit.

The werewolf tore into the crowd quickly blazing a bloody trail of death in his wake. Victims had their throats ripped open and their limbs torn off. The werewolf free from the school at last escaped into the heart of the city. Tonight no one was safe.

A call came to the sheriffs office about an enormous size dog going on a killing rampage. Sheriff Brady and his friend who was a big game hunter, wasted no time and got into the police car. “An enormous size dog on a killing spree during a full moon, sounds to me like we’re dealing with a werewolf.” the game hunter said as he began to load his rifle with silver bullets. The sheriff didn’t say anything, for he was to busy trying to navigate through the panic frenzy crowd of people that were screaming and running for their lives.

The werewolf had gotten trapped in the back alleyway. It was clear to see that the creature was becoming agitated and would soon attack again. Sheriff Brady and his friend finally arrived on the scene and got into position. The werewolf began to growl menacing at the people that had it surrounded. Then a long chilling howl came from its throat. All the suffering and blood lust boiled down to this moment. It was clear to the big game hunter that the werewolf was about to mount one final attack to escape. Quickly the big game hunter took aim with his rifle at the werewolf’s head, and squeezed the trigger as the werewolf lunged it’s massive form at the crowd.

As the shot echoed in the darkness, the crowd of people that had gathered, gazed in amazement as the dead body of the werewolf began to transform back into Chad. The nightmare was over and Chad would no longer have to suffer. THE END

There are - or may be - certain similarities here…

Tomorrow is Friday.

Which means that it’s tomorrow, I’m pretty sure, when we get to see the resolution of the transformation.

But - in the meantime - Drusilla is still dead. She is, in fact, carbonized ashes, which, in this life, is about as dead as you can get.

But - in the meantime - we have yet to see the face of she-who-is-costumed-as-Satori. Who IS Satori? What is she? That all her swains commend her…never mind, momentarily lost in Shakespearean quotes that aren’t from Hamlet for some bizarre reason…re-compute…reboot…better now…

Everyone seems to be expecting that the hidden face…will be the face of Drusilla.

BUT!

Tomorrow is Friday.

Can you say cliffhanger? Can you say plot twist?

Heh. They completely avoided even mentioning the most important thing about the film… (The scene in the taxi sort of hints at it, but that’s about all.)

I’d have hated being handed the assignment of making a trailer for that film.

ladywolf, at the risk of impropriety on the couch; You tell heart rending love tales, stories of tragedy and adventure. I’ll bet you’re awesome at stories that use profanities, given the quality of the other styles.

Gweedo the problem with using profanities here is that out of control Nanny-bot bleeps just about every bad word. And besides you guys are not the only audience I have. That’s right there are other people here in the RL that I occasionally entertain with my stories.
