@BikeNBoatN Very good point. It seemed to me a nice spot of tension starting would be a nice arrival time, but yes, HM is an expert at twisting and turning the plot for even more tension before springing the arrival with an unexpected twist. But oh how we love it.
“I do know where it came from.”
“I do know where it came from?”
The Satori we know and love from Suzerain should have no clue where the volcano - which just blew its top and spewed demon spawn all over New York - came from. She was programmed to fight the evil queen, and then reprogrammed by Roger…who just confessed a total lack of knowledge about what’s going on.
Satori…I’m sayin’…is more than Satori.
And this ‘climactic’ moment - and I do use that word in a couple of ways here - is more than just a cliffhanger on the surface, as in, “Warriors prepare to stand up and take on the Big Bad.”
Speaking of Spitty, his physical form was liquefied and he was presumably digested by Luciano, but what about his essense, or spirit, if you will? (Assuming he had one, that is).
Razz Thayer and Adelia ran for their lives. Behind them in hot pursuit was the army of the heavyset man. They ran for as long as they could but soon fell to exhaustion. The army caught up to them and circled around Razz and adelia, then began to close in slowly. Before Razz or Adelia could react to the situation at hand, A rebellious warrior with a scythe came flying out of a tree and landed in front of them. “I’ll take care of these idiots. You both just stay behind me.” The strange warrior said as he raised his scythe into the air. With both of his hands, the warrior began to twirl the scythe in a circular pattern. Then with all his strength he slammed the blade hard into the ground causing a massive shockwave that took out the entire army of the heavyset man.
The rebellious warrior turned to face Razz and Adelia. He removed the mask from his face. “My name is Scythe, it is a pleasure to meet your aquaintances. Scythe shook hands with Razz ,then kissed the hand of Adelia. They walked on for awhile then decided to make camp for the night. Razz turned in early and fell asleep . Adelia decided to stay up. She wanted to talk with Scythe for awhile.
Scythe was of average height with long brown hair and eyes. He had a scar that started from the left side of the upper forehead that ran down to the upper bridge of his nose, and finally coming to an end at the right side of his cheek. “How did you get that scar?” asked Adelia who was very curious. “My lover gave it to me in the throws of passion.” Scythe said with a smile at the fond memories. Scythe looked to the sky and saw that his lover was coming.
Adelia saw her. Scythe’s lover was a succubus she-demon, and she wasn’t very happy. “Scythe! why are you here with another Succubus?” Adelia was shocked at what she had just heard. “Excuse me! but I am not a succubus.” She said. Scythe’s lover had dark tan skin with black hair and bat-like wings. She also had red glowing eyes which she used to stare down Adelia with. The succubus also had horns, and wore a black leather bra and loincloth. “You can deny that, all you want child, but I smell Succubus blood in your veins.” the succubus said as she examined Adelia with curiosity. “You can not fool me child, for I can see it in your eyes.” The succubus smiled at Adelia then continued on with her speech. “I can see that you are tormented by your cravings and desires. The stirring in your blood demands it. You must commit to your desires, and make love to your human for that is the way of all succubus.” The succubus done talking, picked up her lover, Scythe and took off into the night. Adelia watched them disapear. “I am not a succubus.” She shouted into the vast night sky. Adelia suddenly felt tired and went into the tent to sleep.
Don TomasoPerhaps Inky/Spitcock was the foolish demon who first planted demon spores as head colds.
Seems unlikely to me. Tom T said in yesterday’s narrative that it was a she-demon that did both the planting and the releasing. Spinky definitely looked male.
Found out the hang-ups were due to a confilct between IE8 and Skype (which I don’t recommend on any computer, but alas, the lass uses it to keep in touch with long-distance family)

Boilerplate comment: Links were stripped from the boilerplate on Tuesday and Wednesday. I posted it Tuesday; Joe the Minotaur posted Wednesday. Both of us already know of Markdown’s habit of stripping links on the first edit. Once posted, the boilerplate should not need editing. I know I did not edit Tuesday’s until after it was stripped, at that point I did a fresh cut-and-paste to restore it. I am certain that Joe would not have reason to edit Wednesday.
Which still leaves the question… why were the links stripped?
Is there anyone at GoComics that can edit comments? They own the site and can delete any comments, but if someone is reviewing comments, and somehow does a refresh of the comment that might give the same result as an edit.

“Is there anyone at GoComics that can edit comments? They own the site … … an edit.”
No idea. Unless I’ve got a bad cold like last week that keeps me up three nights in a row, I don’t spend more than a few minutes here and there on the site. Most sites don’t edit comments after posting a comment, there usually being too many comments to even think about editing if they wanted to, but there is nothing to prevent them from doing so. A few prevent postings if key words are present, but most don’t do that, either.
AmriloJimWhich still leaves the question… why were the links stripped?
As far as I know, anytime I’ve posted the boilerplate, all the links have remained active, even long after the original posting. Or at least till the next day or so, as I don’t make it a habit to go in and check several day old comments. Especially since I can only go back 7 days anyway.
BikeNBoatN, I noticed this morning that you had made a comment, noticed that the page had turned over to Friday and pre-pended the boilerplate to the existing comment… meaning that that post is now exempt from first-edit stripping.
A fantastic saga of adventure both high and low, of forbidden passion and iambic pentameter, of fays, fools, organists, demons, accordions, heaven, hell and Shakespeare, Pibgorn follows the whims and flights of its eponymous fairy heroine as she plies her conviction that there must be more to life than depositing dew drops on dandelions and sleeping under mushrooms.
