So, maybe Honorable Master is holding back Igor for tomorrow’s cliffhanger (can’t help it if I’m eager to see him again)? …Meanwhile, fair Satori contemplates a dangerous course of action. But, then, has she not always been a Maid of Action?!

The original program was written by a demon. Who knows what the full effect of that is? Maybe Satori can cross over. Maybe she is actually someone else trapped in the game. Maybe, when she comes out, she will be an old crone!

ladywolf17 i know that right now your head must be swarming full of what was said through today, Remember what is important to you. Do not let anger destroy you. Instead harness it and put it to use for your wonderful stories. Others still say that you’re trying to stir the pot and cause trouble.
Just ignore them. Focus on your friends instead, draw in the positive vibes that they are sending your way. Do this and I promise you that things will be better for you in the long run.

If by “segment” you mean a storyline/arc - the last one ran almost two years.

For the Information of All:

Well, i fixed the computer (temporary fix, re-installed the previous, somewhat less-than-reliable DVD drive in place of the newer, dead one), tried something else and fried the Windows Master Boot Record.

And i can’t find my install disk, so i’m downloading a new copy, so that i can use it to rebuild the MBR.

(In case you’re wondering how i’m magically doing that, i’m using an Ubuntu 8.04 Linux live disk. I’m gonna save the ISO image to disk, mount it {i hope}, copy it to a USB key, then go from there…

(Oughta be fun, and there go my chances of getting any sleep tonight, as i have to be up and out in the early morning…)

Not exactly sure what you mean by a “segment”, but if it’s what I think you mean, this strip runs five days per week. There is no new installment on either Saturdays or Sundays.

But the Forum is open 24/7, so you can still chime in on whatever comes to mind, especially when it pertains to “Pibgorn”.

I meant the storyline I guess. Many others start with a plot on Monday and it ends on Saturday. Fairportfan said the last one here ran 2 years. That’s a long time and how can you jump in the middle if you missed too much?

TerryLonewolf, it’s pretty difficult. I went to The Old Wolf’s site, and read up on all the characters and past stories. You can just appreciate it for the artwork alone, if that’s your desire. People are drawn to this comic because it’s a challenge to the mind. That’s why the confusion couch came about.

THE LAND OF MAGIC

Part Four
The Palace

As Deyhon and I traveled along the path to get to the palace, he began to teach me the ways of magic. “You see little girl, true magic comes from the heart, if you believe in it truthfully, you will be able to harness it at will.” Deyhon said and showed me an example by producing a ball of energy.

I watched with fascination, then said to him, “My name is Tierra.” We walked on for a few hours, then took a rest to eat and drink. As we relaxed I began to try to conjure up magic, “Remember Tierra, focus on what you are trying to do and believe in it with all your heart.

I focused deep and believed with my heart that I could it. A strange blue light began to glow from my hands. “Impressive Tierra, you have managed to produce a full glow of magic with both hands,it takes most beginners weeks to even do a half glow of magic with one hand.” said Deyhon with a chuckle.

By mid-afternoon Deyhon and I had reached the palace.
The palace was beautiful. It was made by magical crystals, surrounded by a field of wild flowers.

“This is as far as I can go, Tierra! Just remember what I have taught you.” Deyhon said and turned around to head back for his cave. “Thank you!” said I and watched as he disappeared into his mist.

Finally I reached the door that led into the palace. I was finally here, now all that was left for me to do was to speak with the head magician. I was led in by the palace guards,and taken to a small room where I was told to wait.

Finally a small skinny man came into the room and sat down at the desk. “Can I help you?” he said looking up at me. “I’m here to see the head magician to see if he can help me get back to my homeland.” said I.

The small skinny man looked at me with sad eyes then said to me,”Without the legendary magic key, not even the head magician can help you.” The small skinny man sighed and got up to leave. “Where can I find the magic key?’ said I to the small skinny man now at the door.

“To the west, in the lair of an evil griffin, and nobody has ever survived an encounter with this great evil creature.”

“If I succeed on this mission, will the head magician then help me?” I asked. The small skinny man shook his head yes and wished me luck.

Most of the time I give her advise offline but on occasion as she types her stories out I may type her a possitive message out like I did tonight. There was nothing personal about it I just want to lift her spirits up.
