Has anyone noticed that Oognut either has VERY high heels on or VERY high platform shoes, or is HOVERING in the grass? It’s well above the ankles of the other 3, but her shoes are very much in the picture.
Has anyone noticed that he’s about to turn his back on two armed women who are also a pair of the biggest “green-eyed monsters” who ever lived? He better behave himself.
Buster seems to be the only one with a memory. The girls blanked out with only seconds of a memory whom they used to be.
Now you have that Smog Thing that attacked Oognat and threw her into what all tends and purposes looks like Goff’s dream but isn’t. Making them think their some other people.
Whatever Smog thing is, its certainly the samething one who thru Dru and now Oognat to NYC’s volcano and dreamland.
Suspection is that its aspect of Goff’s mind, it certainly had his eyes.
Anyways, Buster gets all the entertainment and Goff left holding frozen pop that used to be Pib!
Oognat’s dress seems to be a lot longer than her usual outfits seen previously. Her little red dress in Mozart barely covered her assets. Compared to that one, this one is downright modest.
Everything that Nat wants seems to appear. He needed a wll to lean on, and a wall appeared. He said the only thing missing was another dame, and Ognat was immediately cast in that role. Seems to me that everything is working out in his favor here.
A note before I’m off for the day: I noticed that Oognat seems to be rising above the situation: her shoes are visible where the others are covered at least to mid-calf, and her hips are level with the others heads. What’s up (besides Oognat, that is)?
SirMirom I completely agree.
Pib and Dru’s expressions in Panels 2 and 4 are priceless.
And why does poor Oognat always end up being so victimized…. dismemberment (Men in Black), bondage prisoner (MSND), and now projectile-ized. (if Webster will forgive me).
But seriously folks, I had an uncle who worked as a human cannonball… but he got fired last week.
Sorry.
-MOE hisownself
Very HIGH heels, and stillettos at that, are what I think Oognat is wearing. Very much in the taxi dancer tradition. Any search now is only for weapons of mass distraction.
Many Many Moons Ago - someone here recommended the webcomic Two Lumps, and I have been captive ever since. Today’s has me weezing, gasping for air, nearly spit out my orange juice. Maybe my sense of humor is sicker than most but - - well - - you tell me
hahahaah, gg! I don’t know if I was the one to recommend it or whether we both followed someone else, but Two Lumps is definitely a very funny strip.

Pib–Hmmm—-Nat, you’d better demonstrate some level of awareness or those heaters will be making you toasted!

9cl–I don’t get the Nebraska reference but the list otherwise is hilarious!
Well, I have to admit that, after my first thought of, “The Nebraskans aren’t going to appreciate that!”, my second was to be thankful that he didn’t say “Kansas”! (We Kansans get a little tired of putdowns by people who have never even been here.)
I suspect Mr McEldowney is using Nebraska as a variation on John D. MacDonald’s, “One of those dreary mid-western states that starts with a vowel.” And the three syllables have a nice rhythm.
maybe Dru, Pib, and Nat are standing in a depression, or they are sinking into the next dreamscape.
~~~~~~
hey, let’s find out if Oognat is ticklish!
~~~~~~
i….really hope we don’t end up with a menage-a-four.

9CWL: ooh, burn on Nebrasksa.
Sure. I was born in Kansas at a very young age to poor but humble parents, took a look around at the lovely foliage, and told them, “This sure doesn’t look like Oz.” We left after seven months.
Oh, the disdain in Dinah/Dru’s eyes! Brilliant, Mr. McE!! A really nice bit of art.
Tennessee, Pib didn’t look all so convinced, either. Maybe this is Nat’s dream. If so, I’m sure it is with help from the Smoke thingie. I’m as lost as anyone, but in some sort of cockeyed dream sequence way, it’s making sense.
The two girls correction of Nat’s diction was priceless. As was his acquiescence. But after all, birds gotta fly, bees gotta buzz, and Private I’s gotta investigate privates, right? I mean privately investigate! Never mind…
A fantastic saga of adventure both high and low, of forbidden passion and iambic pentameter, of fays, fools, organists, demons, accordions, heaven, hell and Shakespeare, Pibgorn follows the whims and flights of its eponymous fairy heroine as she plies her conviction that there must be more to life than depositing dew drops on dandelions and sleeping under mushrooms.

Oognat is about to be frisked.
I sense a fascinating cosmic convergence here that I’ll explain…later…when I return with snacks.
Sorry for the delay and all that but the world beyond Reality (which some call the RL) momentarily requires my presence elsewhere…

There is nothing like a dame. Nothing in the world. There is nothing you can name that is anything like a dame.
But in this case, it’s:
There is nothing like a L’apache Danseur/Hair Fairy.
