If you would like to ‘favorite’ the strip, (and maybe the sketch, too), simply log in and click on the ‘Favorite’ star at the lower right corner of the strip. Mr. McEldowney very kindly asked for us what purpose is served by favoriting, and this was the answer:
I asked my editor at Gocomics about the purpose of “favoriting” a strip. Her answer was this: “‘Favoriting’ allows people following you to see what comics you like. ‘Favorited’ comics also show up under your profile, and allow us to see what comics people are enjoying.”
Basically, I think it provides a method for spreading the word.
Brooke

@Strodgers: The strip just updated, a bit after noon.
Joe Minotaur said, 5 months ago
Are they going to combine again?
Will Nat commit unbridaled Humma-Humma with the result?

I had thought that Pib was going to wake up in Geoff’s arms as she normally recovers. But now Dru is being pulled up. Make room on the couch for me.
Does anyone know if Brooke has read Kirk’s Secret Commonwealth….it might explain some things.

Gee, my first thought was, “Only eight? Is there something wrong with the site, or do non-members only get the first few comments now?” Then I saw that it updated late.
and I agree with fatuncle: “Oh, lookit! Purty lights!”
They match! –Well, except for Dru’s red and Pib’s green. Is there some sort of equalization going on between Dru and Pib, with the Fire and Frost, Lava and Glacier?
Joe Minotaur said, 5 months ago
Mythtickle has updated as well! :O

@DeathDealer said, yesterday: ”I’m beginning to suffer withdrawal. No Pibgorn; no Sequential Art. (And, since it’s a Tuesday, no Girl Genius).”
Are you aware that the Foglio’s do a second strip, which updates Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays? It’s Buck Godot, Zap Gun For HIre, and it starts here - http://tinyurl.com/bogtee
You can get your fix every day but Sunday.

Is that a roscoe in your pocket or are you happy to see me? :)
I have no doubt that the Master has read Kirk.
chinawanderer said, 5 months ago
That surprises me.
Oh well, another theory blown as I go to the confusion couch today.

“Let me see if I’ve got this straight: The squirrels are the crumb police squad, the goat is in charge of leftover removal, the bats are for the bugs attracted by the food, and the llama is for comic relief and knitting. Let’s make it a cashmere goat… . hmmm, a cashmere afgan …”
On my recent trip, I got an offer for an entire llama farm, complete with about 40 (?) llamas. Do we want to go into the wholesale llama afghan business? It’ll keep our hands busy collecting the wool, carding and spinning it, weaving it, and doing the tailoring. And during all that we can muse and chat in our bamfoozled confuzzlement.

What, did everybody get lost? Are they busy getting caught up on Buck Godot, Zip Gun for Hire to assuage their Foglio fix? Are they waiting beside Bustard with…errr…baited breath…for things to come back down after they went up?
maeverin said, 5 months ago
lol, Nat’s just standing there “a-yuh, that’s different”

Barkeater Lake and TOBY have updated. Looks like 12 comics have updated since 12PM EST.
TiggerLeBounce said, 5 months ago
Hmm- For a while, Pibby and Dru occupied the same body. I wonder if bits of them got stuck in each other when they got unraveled- and just now are actually getting sorted out.

bmonk

Tigger, that’s an interesting theory. It might also explain some of their out of character behaviors recently, with Pib doing unbridled humma humma and Dru having trouble falling in care about others, as we saw in the the Torquemada Game show scene.

@All: Hope everyone had a nice holiday. I’ve landed on the farm, and am already up to my armpits in sheep ejecta and burdock weed. Came into town to get a couple of lawnmower tires repaired, and took the opportunity to come to the local library for their wireless connection.
My, aren’t the girls sparkly? Nat’s probably smart to keep his weapon at the ready - who knows what’s coming round the corner next?

And “Sequential Art” is also up with a new posting. The squirrel girls have completed their first re-design of the lawn mower. It sounds as if they may be planning the addition of a quantum anomoly grass catcher.

Just as long as the Sequential Art girls don’t teach our squirrels anything… they cause enough mischief as it is, we don’t need a black hole right in the middle of the couch.
We’re confused enough already, we don’t need to have any logical thoughts sucked up because we didn’t look where we sat down.

Panel 2 Colors are interesting: Dru’s magenta, Pib’s an odd green. Not what they’re supposed to be. [[But their HAIR is correctly tinted!!]]
Not the first to say: Wonder what’s going on and caused by whom?
AND… Where are they?? Dru started in the hospital (assumably at the bottom of the volcano), Nat dropped into the TOP of the volcano, Pib way out at sea where the ice is… and her form is still there with Geoff!! Yet they are all in the same dreamspace.
So… where’s the dreamscape?

While it may not be the effect the Master intended, the visuals in this episode make the lyrics…”Tiny bubbles…in the wiiine…” float around in my head (the Don Ho version, of course)…
Therefore, it’s time to break out the Champagne!
(actually, it’s always a good time to break out the champagne)
I brought Taittinger. The Blanc de Blanc Brut 1943, which - as the sommelier at the Casino Royale is always happy to tell you - “is without equal.”
Sip some bubbly and reflect upon a corollary to what Nat is saying. He believes that what goes up, must come down.
But it is also a truism that everything that rises must converge…
