If you would like to ‘favorite’ the strip, (and maybe the sketch, too), simply log in and click on the ‘Favorite’ star directly above the strip. Mr. McEldowney very kindly asked for us what purpose is served by favoriting, and this was the answer:
I asked my editor at Gocomics about the purpose of “favoriting” a strip. Her answer was this: “‘Favoriting’ allows people following you to see what comics you like. ‘Favorited’ comics also show up under your profile, and allow us to see what comics people are enjoying.”
Basically, I think it provides a method for spreading the word.

Perhaps providing the URL for this comic constitutes cruel and unusual something-or-other … but why should i be the only one suffering?

I just spent a couple hours reading the whole thing from the beginning. There was an episode of The Goon Show, in which the announcer, Wallace Greenslade does a mid-show recap of the … for want of a better word … plot, finishing up with “…if you feel confused, Dear Lsitener, don’t be lonely - Wallace is one of you.” - or words to that close effect. This sums up the effect of reading this whole comic in one go.

So on at least one occassion while using her baiser de la fée, and another when she’d been pumped up with extra energy from Dru, she’s made those color changes before. Between her coexistence with Dru in the prior adventure, and her attmepting to break Geoff free, it could be either one.

OK, we need someone with a degree in fairy physiology and psychology. Pib’s color change has to mean something and we need to know what. Is this how Dru was captured, so Pib is now captured in the dream too?

Pib’s legs were green and yellow, so it appears that in panel 2 we are seeing the beginning of the color change she is showing in panels 3 and 4. Wonder if the color change is an effect of how she got to the last panel or is it how fairies show that they are cold? The hair color in panels 3 and 4 is interesting though.

Wholly Toledo!

Pib thought she was going to melt the ice - the last time we saw her go red like that was when she gave Geoff her first baiser de la fée in the “Coffeecup” adventure.

Now she’s caught in another strange dream. What’s going on here?

Greetings from sunny Maumee, Ohio. Departure in 1 hour for Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and points East. Blueberry Cheesecake Croissants on the coffeetable for the late risers!

Oh my, seems everyone is in some sort of “dream” state under Fire and/or Ice - except Maurice. Does not appear to be a game like Suzeraine, though. Wonder if Luciano will make a comeback?

Good morning to all!
I just got back to VA from FL and de-stressing my mom.
Old Wolf, you sure are making progress in eating up the miles. Thanks for keeping us updated to your where abouts.
Panel 5 where it looks like full transference is happening is my favorite part today. My take on the color change starting in #2 from the feet up - seems like she’s not aware and then Zap! it takes over, and takes her out!
I couldn’t comment the other day but does any one have a promblem with phrases like - more than happy, more that capable? and plus also? Those just make me want to rant!

MermaidStitcher: Plety of room on the confusion couch…there have been a few times Pib has donned this color, usually to “absorb” the spell/curse/poison/ethereal boogie that has attached itself to someone…it is a healing mode of which I could cite the relevant examples from the archives, but I have not the time…anyone else?

Did Dru’s trail, if it really is her trail (I’m so confused now) start with Geoff?

Someone is making an effort to gather Dru, Pib, and Nat together.

Could be Tom T, could be Spinky regathered from the fires of Hell, could be someone from the upper niches of Hell.

A thought – Brooke has often compared the forces of evil to petty stuff in everyday life. A nice comparison, and apt. Anyone ever read the Screwtape Letters? C.S. Lewis followed similar lines in his description of Hell.
