If you would like to ‘favorite’ the strip, (and maybe the sketch, too), simply log in and click on the ‘Favorite’ star directly above the strip. Mr. McEldowney very kindly asked for us what purpose is served by favoriting, and this was the answer:
I asked my editor at Gocomics about the purpose of “favoriting” a strip. Her answer was this: “‘Favoriting’ allows people following you to see what comics you like. ‘Favorited’ comics also show up under your profile, and allow us to see what comics people are enjoying.” Basically, I think it provides a method for spreading the word. I hope Brooke is going to start something else tomorrow; if he continues this, i see two possibil;ities: 1) The subsequent streips fall flat, for none can surpass thie level of silliness or 2) I am found dead, slumped over my keyboard Thursday morn, looking as if i’d been done in by The Joker’s gas…

The hat is sorta excessive, but i suspect the colour may be an artifact of trying to make it look like night - kind of like the strange colours you sometimes see in a film scene that’s shot nuit Americaine.

Personally, i don’t think the cop can see the seams from that angle, but i also bet it’s not going to stop him looking very hard to try to…
A further note about police acoutrements (a pause, whilst Dru adjusts her acoutrements): The gauntlets he’s wearing are appropriate for a motorcycle cop in the 1930’s (and he’s probably riding an Indian).
.
Interesting small change in dialog.
fairportfan’s quoting of my “last night” remarks has prompted me to correct the placement of the opening parenthesis to before “…or NY State….” Perish the thought that I should let a gaffe bleed before this merry school of grammar-piranhas!
At first I thought the copper had developed a moustache in panel 5, until I realized it was just his gaping mouth. “What’s a matter, copper? Never seen a gorgeous gam before?!”

For two stilleto heel antennas on Thorax’s head, that puts a lower limit on the frequency of ~3GHz, somewhat above the frequency band allocated to 4G cell phones in the U.S. If even higher frequencies are used, then the minimum requied spacing goes down by the same ratio.
I suppose Thorax could also hold one stiletto antenna in his outstretched hand, as well.

Man this confusion gets thick in here; Fun, but thick.
First off Dru just gets done having two good rounds of humina humina with our man of steel Nat. So why is she looking so non-heaven bent on clocking someone?
Second, based on my personal experience in buying suggestive lingerie, the seams as a rule go up the back and over the calves to points north.
My final point of confusion has to do with where Nat and Dru are. Are they still in the operating room of a volcanic hospital or have they been spirited elsewhere and I’ve just missed it?
I’m going over to the bean bah chair of befuddlement and nosh on my red pudding and chips.
Gweedo, the “explore” in your link suggests you were linking through your selection of favorite comics; the unfettered link right now would end just in the strip’s title….
http://www.gocomics.com/lastkiss
Given Mr. McE’s penchant for playing with time twists and quantum infinitives, I’m wondering if Nat & Dru are gonna end up in Gotham (in the 1930’s) at 77th & Park. Some sort of connection between the noir ‘dreamworld’ and the hospital inside a volcano might then take place across the 70-80 years time gap ..?

Chocolate milk and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for me at the couch; I just spent 20 hours at work: 8 hours working, then a supper break and 10 hours more painting three coats of arms on a herald’s tabard. To conserve silk for parachutes during WWII women gave up stockings, but to maintain the look they had the seam line painted on the back of their legs. That would have been my ideal job and I would have introduced mini-skirts then and there to extend my work.
A fantastic saga of adventure both high and low, of forbidden passion and iambic pentameter, of fays, fools, organists, demons, accordions, heaven, hell and Shakespeare, Pibgorn follows the whims and flights of its eponymous fairy heroine as she plies her conviction that there must be more to life than depositing dew drops on dandelions and sleeping under mushrooms.
