If you would like to ‘favorite’ the strip, (and maybe the sketch, too), simply log in and click on the ‘Favorite’ star directly above the strip. Mr. McEldowney very kindly asked for us what purpose is served by favoriting, and this was the answer:
I asked my editor at Gocomics about the purpose of “favoriting” a strip. Her answer was this: “‘Favoriting’ allows people following you to see what comics you like. ‘Favorited’ comics also show up under your profile, and allow us to see what comics people are enjoying.”
Basically, I think it provides a method for spreading the word.

Just made myself some more of my spicy rice, BTW - had a 2-pound pork roast i bought on terminal markdown to use up.

This batch is much tastier than the last one.

It may even be spicier than this strip.

I just spent some time Googling for my favourite still from the Jim Carey film The Mask - the one where he’s doing the Tex Avery Wolf routing in the night club, with his heart pounding in and out of his chest.

You can’t see it in the film, because of the motion, but in that still, you can clearly see that the buttons on his shirt are little purple heart-shaped thingies.
