If you would like to ‘favorite’ the strip, (and maybe the sketch, too), simply log in and click on the ‘Favorite’ star directly above the strip. Mr. McEldowney very kindly asked for us what purpose is served by favoriting, and this was the answer:
I asked my editor at Gocomics about the purpose of “favoriting” a strip. Her answer was this: “‘Favoriting’ allows people following you to see what comics you like. ‘Favorited’ comics also show up under your profile, and allow us to see what comics people are enjoying.”
Basically, I think it provides a method for spreading the word.

    Where’s Seth and Edda’s place?

Good question. I think Brooke gave the general location - street and maybe cross-street - at least once, but can’t recall and don’t have the energy to look it up. (My “Pibgorn” files are easier to search than my 9CL ones.)

[EDIT: Thanks, RockHouse–it’s Lenox Hill Hospital….]

Perusing the Google Maps ground views in all directions from E. 77th and Park Ave., I see no buildings so tall as those where Drusilla has fallen. It would seem that, if the Master is consciously striving for verisimilitude, she has broken ground in a more central/downtown location of newer, higher skyscrapers…. Just a thought to keep confusion roiling….

Well, good thing the Confusion Couch is a genuine Bigasit Needstobe so there’s no worries about there being room for one befuzzled Valkyrie in mufti armed only with a large platter of raspberry scones hot from the oven with Devonshire clotted cream and a pot of Earl Grey, hot.

    So tragic about Natasha Richardson.

  32. The Old Wolf

The Old WolfGenius_badge said, 8 months ago

@Gunnr: Urp - thanks for the scones and clotted cream. I’ll have to pass on the Earl Grey but offer you this herbal fac-simile:

    Blend in equal proportions:
    Raspberry
    Dandelion
    Gotu Kola
    Echinachea (slightly less)
    Horsetail
    Add: Drop of Lemon Juice

It tastes surprisingly like the real thing.

And yes… what a horrid loss for Neeson and his family, as well as the rest of us. TANJ!

I don’t write here much but I have a couple of thoughts. First someone wrote this, “So. what has caused the downfall of a succubus?”

First thing that came to mind would be true love, can’t think of anything hell could not stand more.

I wonder with all the “good” things she’s been doing if she will get kicked out of hell?

But on the flip side, Dru started doing this after Roger and Lena turned the program on again, and went in. I’m betting that even at a distance Dru is now powering said program.

A broken, unreinforced concrete sidewalk simply cannot support that many people over an apparently open void.

I like the sulphurous yellow glow, though. Wonder if it’s significant. In the small pyramid, Khufu-B, there are mural paintings showing one of Khufu’s wives with yellow hair. This does not prove anything conclusively, other than the fact that the painter had some yellow paint. The sulphurous aura around Dru might have a similar provenance… i.e. Brooke felt like yellow this morning.
