I love that we leave the old arc with Igor and Mrs. Egg facing off over dinner! And is it fair to assume that the new title and the initial artwork suggest Dru having problems with her new uber-powers?

@OTC: Here we go again with a fresh batch of confusion…is Dru having more mojo-spasms? And is that steam from the emponymous volcano in the second panel?

Most importantly, are there any dangling points left to resolve from the Satori arc? Are we satisfied that Roger and Lena have their own private holodeck and can dispatch Igor to deal with mom’s Andy Fox-like cooking skillz?

To the hot tub! Got some Bluecoat gin to mix with fever tree tonic and lots of fresh organic limes…

Well, this bring confusion to the next level. WTF???
1) The title implies the start of a new arc but so many questions
remain with Suzerain that it can’t be over. Brooke just can’t leave us
like this! This is worse than a cliffhanger! No! No! Say it isn’t so!

   Does Roger return with Satori?
   What is Lena doing in Suzerain?
   Why isn’t mother Egg freaking out over a walking, talking Teddy bear?
   What is Pib never going to be able to do?
   What happens with the Pib - Geoff - Dru triad?
   What??? Why??? How???

2) Dru seems to be having some sort of spasmodic attack and has
no control of her body. She appears to have fallen off the roof
and has lost her ability to fly. The last we saw her she was
playing Roger and Satori with Geoff. So what happened???

Frantic minds want to know!!!

Well, I am dumbfounded. If this is a new arc then we came up just 5 days and four strips short of two years.

The last twelve strips have added nothing but confusion to the Satori arc. How much better to have called it quits with the strip of 02/27/2009.

Beautiful artwork! I hope we’re not starting a new story, although for some of us newer and not so new who never got to go back the whole way thru the archives, that would be good to start a story from the beginning, but I want to know how it ends with Igor!!!!

I’ve said before that it’s possible that Roger, Lena and Satori could become permanent members of the cast. Okay, I was wrong about Spitcock, but Brooke assured us at the Comic Con that he *is* dead, destroyed, devoured, digested and deposited.

It appears that Dru is landing in the first panel, then something either goes wrong or is already in-process. And she faints?

Also, first thought was that we are watching the sun rise; second thought is that we are seeing golden-hot magma(?) or some sort of massive energy/plasma/magic release in teh distance. Perhaps a magical shockwave is reaching & impacting Dru as we see these panels unfold ..?

Thought she was dancing for joy at first, but closer inspection shows she’s in distress.

Regarding unresolved points from the previous story, I think most of those points will be resolved with hints and isolated data. As far as the Pib-Geoff-Dru triangle … I suspect that a large part of this arc is about to make that even more complex. All the better to set the stage for the next story.

i think dru is simply relishing life at the moment–better mojo, her love back, and she just kicked some major patootie–i think i’d be dancing on the roof top too!

lager format?! schweet! i can’t wait to see all the delicious images Brooke no doubt has in store for us!

as far as that being the end of teh Lena arc, i think i can be satisfied with knowing what we know and letting our imaginations take the rest–the Egg children have a portal into a world they can control, Roger has his cyber-chick and a total boost in confidence, Lena has her Igor (who mom will eventually come to welcome as just part of the family)…
the only thing i would like explained is that mysterious lurker in Roger’s clothes–was that indeed Roger? did he always know more than he let on?

Maybe this new panel should be called “Noah’s Arc” because I have noah idea what is going on. Maybe Igor will smash the monitor and trap Lena and Roger in Pixel Paradise; maybe we have the makings of another parallel universe;… OF COURSE - it’s the leprechauns having a bit of sport at our expense: HAPPY ST.
