    If you would like to

    ‘favorite’ the strip,

(and maybe the sketch, too), simply log in and click on the ‘Favorite’ star directly above the strip. Mr. McEldowney very kindly asked for us what purpose is served by favoriting, and this was the answer:
I asked my editor at Gocomics about the purpose of “favoriting” a strip. Her answer was this: “‘Favoriting’ allows people following you to see what comics you like. ‘Favorited’ comics also show up under your profile, and allow us to see what comics people are enjoying.”
Basically, I think it provides a method for spreading the word.

I’m pretty sure that was the stone guy in Fantastic 4, as the Hulk was all grunts and growls for his clobberin’ time.
    EDIT:
Maybe it was the hulk ?

“It’s clobberin’ time!” is indeed the eloquent and resounding battlecry of one Mr. Benjamin Grimm. However, as Mr. Grimm is not a mutant, he does not meet the entrance qualifications for the X-Persons. Wotta revoltin’ development this is, such misinformation being bandied about (by all save Fairportfan, who bandieth not). As for the Inedible Bulk, er, Incredible Hulk, what he mostly says, if memory serves, is “HULK STOMP!” Or, for variety, “HULK SMASH!”

EDIT: And Mojitobaby also bandieth not.

    YUP, I second the “neato”

    Igor’s concerned, we haven’t seen Pibby yet…

I think (as has been mentioned already) that we may have another mike hit the floor…

And Amos had best get his rear-in-gear and get to the hall!!

Night… Yuck!!! Who left all this squirrel & cookie mess??? I guess it’s CannonBall Cleaning time [[splash]]… There… Where’s that “wet floors” sign??
    Anybody see it?

    Not snowing yet (2AM) Sigh…

While there abren’t any Big Changes between sketch and finish today, there are some interesting small things, so i made one.

For all the flicker pics so far:
    http://electronictiger.net/avail/flick

The panorama of the Inauguration reminds me that CNN and Microsoft collaborated with a lot of amateur photographers, and used a relatively new MS program called PhotoSynth to produce a panorama combining literally hundreds of photos from all distances and angles.

The difference between a PhotoSynth panorama and a regular one is that you can move around inside the panorama, and view different photos taken at slightly different times and angles - it’s sort of like the mosaics i was fooling with a while ago, but instead of making a big paicture out of thousands of little unrelated pics, it makes a huge pic of many related phots, all of which are available to see separately, and which lets you view the event from many different angles.

You have to install the PhotoSynth app (i doubt there’s a Mac version), and it works with IE and Firefox, but not Opera.
    Check it out at http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2009/44.president/inauguration/themoment/
