    Dru’s been able to do size-change magic all along - remember when she switched Oognat’s size both ways in the Mozart arc?
     
    In fact, her “this may tingle a bit” reminded me of her telling Oognat “You may feel a little pinch…”, followed by newly fairy-size Oognat yelling irately up “For your information, little pinches do not go ‘ZONGK!’!”

    Well, it wasn’t the baiser de la farfadette, but at least Luciano gets to feel like himself again. Them was quite the fireworks.

    Well, Spitcock is out of the way for now, Luciano is back to a more normal size, Dru is up and very functional, so….maybe we can see what has happened to Pib, Geoff, Roger and Lena????

    I went back through my collection - i was sure i had the obl strip i remember in which that happens … but i don’t.
     
    I wonder if it may be one of the missing Sundays for September ‘02 - anyway, it’s not because he was beating up Amos, but it does involve Amos - and a dog…

    It’s ok, VicTR, that’s the way you’re supposed to look (freaked me out the first time I saw it, too). We see you as normal, but you see yourself as green and on the right so you can find your own comments faster (that’s my theory anyway).

    I must say, based on my own experience with the type, i find it a little less than 100% credible that the type of family someone like Troglojock would come from would be likely - or able - to pay the kind of tuition bills St Godzilla’s charged…

    The parser on this site reacts in funny ways; for instance, it doesn’t matter how many blank lines you insert, unless there is some sort of printable character in them - i use a non-breaking space ( ) in the first space of any line i want to leave blank.
     
    And varying combinations of asterisks and unerscores do Odd Things - if you look at the massive “boilerplate” that gets posted near the beginning of each day’s comments, it has a link (one of several) to a short tutorial on formatting your posts.
     
    (Don’t believe all those guys telling you it’s normal for your posts to be green and backward - it’s actually a way we have of spotting newbies so we can make fun of them…)

    fairportfan, many private and/or parochial secondary schools offer scholarship assistance nowadays, so that anyone can attend regardless of family financial resources (e.g., the fine one I attended, all boys in my day, now co-ed).

    …
    Did anyone else cry when they saw Bush leaving the White House for the last time? I shocked myself for just crying and crying. I felt so bad for him - no one wants to play with him anymore! He may have not always done such a great job, but at least he tried!
    But then, I’m the mother of a toddler. I feel like someone should at least give him a lollypop.
