Dru is being enveloped by golden lava, judging by the sizzling lava. That will burn the arrows away. Since she is a fire demon and bathes in lava to refresh herself, this is likely to revive her.

Brought some grilled pork roast with rosemary, garlic and sage and there is brown rice to go with it.

I’m heading to bed. Maybe if I sleep on it, I can figure out what the gold liquid is that is covering Dru….or maybe by tomorrow I can read what ideas y’all have come up with. (Boy, my English teacher would just about have a stroke after that last sentence)

My apologies, but that politcally correct bleeep irritates the fuzz outta me. At best it is ignorant and at worst it is self-serving. My grandpa lived by a simple philosophy…he used to say “Folks is folks.” If it was good enough for him, it’s good enough for me.

Dru is being covered over by a rising puddle of melted brimstone- element 16, Sssssssssssssssulphur. Never liked that smell, especially when HS would accidentally be released in the lab. Whooooo!

As an Independent, I have always asked the question: why do those of the Left call those not of Socialist ilk, “Right”? Never found an answer to that question, especially when one considers that all branches of socialism are defined as “Left”, be they Communists, National Socialists (Nazis) or International Socialists (Canada, U.S. Democrats, the EU and most European State governments).

The version of Little Black Sambo I had as a kid growing up featured what looked more like a black child. Then again back in the 60’s there were precious few who would make the distinction in blue collar Portland. I have a few hazelnut truffles and brandy walnut truffles left in the fridge for those who are interested. I’ve been rationing them to myself.

Whatever that hot buttery looking stuff is, it looks like it’s definitely wrapping itself around Dru rather than her sinking into it. Whatever it is, I can bet it’s not going to be doing her any good. I still say there’s a 20 ton housefly who needs to put in an appearance before Dru gets completely coated.

Re 9CWL: We knew over a week ago that A&E had won so this is a nice acknowledgement.
However, the master creator also said that Brussels was not yet done. This strip does
not justify that comment. Surely there is a plot twist forthcoming and possibly one
that creates another little bump in the road. Brooke has a habit of not letting things
“live happily ever after”!
