Tommy boy, has forgotten a couple of things…Dru can’t die, being a demon. And, she’s got majopr doube mojo in her right now. When she’s ‘herself’ again after this attack of ‘slings and arrows’, he’s going to be facing one very major, very strong ticked-off succubus.

Ouch. That arrowhead protruding from Dru’s thigh makes the whole thing look twice as painful, for some reason.

So Dru’s fatal flaw is having a good heart… which we already knew. I’m sure she would deny it vehemently… and as for Spitcock taking Dru home, I highly suspect not.

Happy cliffhanger, everyone… time to climb the wooden hill! I’m leaving some Black-bottom Cupcakes on the end table for the late-night crowd.

If Pibgorn gives her the “Fairies Kiss” as she did with Geoff, those wounds of Dru’s become hers anyway. She would heal pretty fast, but Dru’s sacrifice was probably unnecessary.

No, Fly Guy, I had BOTH pages up. I had the new comic at the top, so I KNOW I was on the right page. The comments right above this box said that there were 12 comments, but none were showing. And just like yesterday, as soon as I posted my comment, all 12 suddenly showed up!

Probably because I’m in Alabama, and we are so far behind times I guess it even spreads to the internet. LOL

In fact, I edited my post to add these lines. Note that if you edit your post, you’ll lose any formatting, like the bold-facing of your name in this post. (I put the bold-facing back in.) I had heard of absinthe spoons but not of ladles, or do the French refer to the spoon as a ladle with respect to absinthe? You’ve piqued my curiosity! :)

I don’t know whether to feel sorry for Spitcock or for Dru. Both have got just enough reasons to go at eachother, maybe it’s a matter of who strikes first?

And what, pray, will happen to Pib? Will she be put into the prop room because the game’s over?

On a lesser note, I thought Tom’s eyes were red, or do they change color like his shirt?

And on a humorous note, where’s Drusilla going to put that microwave? Wouldn’t it interfere with her flying?

It looks like Brooke, for lack of a better word, retconned Wednesday’s strip to add the nooses back, and in doing so “corrects” the “noose back for one pannel” phenomenom

I see that Dru is still sporting the glossy finish, though it wasn’t as detectable (to me) in yesterday’s installment.

So, In reality (if that word can be used in this context) Dru isn’t losing her blood, she gets to take it home as part of her prize. So, no loss?

I find it interesting that she comes down for a feet-together landing, then seems to compose herself, [then] falls flat (having moved a step back from the beginings of the puddle that formed in panels 1 & 2.)

I think Tom and Spitcock are in for a surprise if they think she’s gonna take this laying down.

(after that phrase I think [I] better hide under the couch… Hmmm, no candy under here… Thought I threw some here last month…)

BTW - Igor wishes he could move his arms to cover his eyes.

Relax, amigos. Even if Spitcock is awarded Drusilla by this biased process, he still has no mojo left, and if the minions of gehenna want to “refill” him, that’ll be less that can be dedicated to armageddon, so I don’t think they’ll be keen on that, either. Granted, these are demonic arrows capable of destroying Dru, but if that was the point, why award her lifeless form to Spitcock? I think they’re hoping for a free demonstration of the draining he was doing in the game, but he has no power left.

At least that is my cliffhanger speculation-o-rama. More coffee…
